Rodrigo Fonseca Santos was born in Lisbon, February 1999. Having spent his childhood in Ericeira, mostly known for its world class surf breaks and idyllic beaches, he was soon drawn into photography, his first artistic vehicle and obsession. It wasn't until a few years later he fully dedicated himself to his art, dropping out of Law School at the prestigious Universidade Clássica de Lisboa, Portugal's most credited colleges. His main references are Mapplethorpe, Basquiat and Philippe Halsman. 
Rodrigo's work has been exposed in national galleries and published in a couple of magazines. Cinema came later through a friend's invitation, to record a music video, and since then has been cementing itself as another means to express his art. He has, by now, directed a couple dozen music videos for Portuguese and international acts and conceptual short stories, summing over 2 million views on youtube alone. While always keeping photography as his first love, Rodrigo is currently working on the pre-production of two short stories.
